PROJECT: Coloring Book: illustrations, cover art, book design

Make.Do. is where creativity meets connection. This joyful, inclusive, and encouraging space offers quilting classes and craft kits at a “pay-what-you-can” price! As a nonprofit, Make.Do. annually does a fundraiser, and in 2021 I got to create a coloring book for their fundraising efforts. All designs are inspired by the studio’s mission:

Sometimes, the best we can shoot for is to “make do” with whatever lousy situation life hands us. But choosing creativity helps transform our attitude so we can Make.Do. with hope and purpose. We turn those sour lemons into a big pitcher of sweet lemonade (the Make.) and then we pour a few glasses to share (the Do.) No matter our current circumstances, we’ve all had our fair share of lemons, which means we’ve all got some lemonade to share too.
